Eastern Industrial Automation Account Manager in Waltham, Massachusetts

An International Industrial Distributor of Power Transmissions, Motion Control and Pneumatic products and Engineering Systems is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to add to our team located at our  Waltham, MA HQ office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Candidate must have strong selling skills and experience calling on industrial accounts

  • Meet/exceed sales forecast

  • Develop new markets and achieving fast growth objectives

  • Develop relationships with new and existing customers

  • Assist with sales forecasting and long range planning

  • Accurately report activities and expenses in a timely manner

  • Maintain necessary records and files

Qualifications needed for this position include:

  • Willingness and ability to travel daily within your sales territory

  • Creativity to approach sales and build customer relationships in groundbreaking new ways

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales

  • Solid experience within the industrial sector

  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail

  • Negotiation and social problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a team sales environment and multitask

The successful candidate will have an Associates Degree or equivalent, in either a technical or business discipline. Candidate must be an effective communicator, team player and have a strong desire for success.
