We are currently looking for FIRE APPARATUS SALES REPRESENTATIVES. The sales representative is responsible for overseeing the sale of Fire Apparatus vehicles from beginning to end and responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients. This individual is the direct point of contact with a customer and in charge of ensuring a customer’s needs and expectations are met.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintains and expands key customer accounts, building and maintaining rapport with key customers identifying new customer opportunities.
Recommends product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Educating and informing Fire Departments, Fire Districts and Fire Brigades about Allegiance Fire & Rescue products
Cold call potential customers
Attend conferences, trade shows, county meetings as required
Conduct demonstrations of products for customers
Remain knowledgeable of customer needs in assigned territory
Accomplishes sales and organization mission by maintaining unit, revenue, and profit goals
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Background Knowledge & Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate/negotiate with internal and external customers.
Excellent computer proficiency (CRM, MS Office Products).
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
Wide degree of creativity and latitude expected.
Strong leadership skills.
