Raytheon Technologies Program Engineering: Control Account Manager (CAM) in Tewksbury, Massachusetts

We are currently seeking a

Control Account Manager (CAM)

to join the Radar Receiver Exciter Integrated Product Team in Tewksbury, MA. This team designs, develops, integrates, and tests the Radar Receiver Exciter hardware for the combat proven


integrated air and missile defense system



The candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and able to support multiple program efforts within the Receiver, Exciter and Signal Processing Department as a Cost Account Manager (CAM). This role requires experience in technical concept/proposal development and design.

The candidate will work with the Program Engineering Lead, program management, and individual contributors to ensure execution of technical tasks, providing end-to-end analysis and reporting of program cost and schedule.

The qualified candidate will fulfill the following responsibilities:

Managing the schedule and cost objectives at the control account level using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) tools

Support to planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks

Developing the network/integrated work flow of schedule activities to ensure accurate, appropriate, and effective use of engineering technical and other data, including schedule definition, structure and documentation

Establish performance measurement baselines (PMB), perform cost and schedule measurement, update schedules, quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) oversight, data analysis and reporting

Ensure planning reflects all task assignments, schedule and budget identified within the control account

Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to generate and review Basis of Estimates (BOE); evaluate BOEs for complian

ce to company and customer standard

Required Skills:

8+ years experience in finance, project control, and/or program management

Excellent interpersonal, time management and communication skills; as well as mentoring and facilitation skills in dealing with management and technical staff

Experience in EVMS, IMS, & IMP or equivalent tools for managing programs; proficiency in Excel

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Desired Skills:

Strong judgment and decision making abilities, able to drive efforts to closure and able to effectively

manage/coordinate multiple tasks and priorities

Expert in Microsoft Office Project

Expert in Earned Value Management System (EVMS); EVMS Certified

Strong understanding of Program Controls and processes

Experience in execution of a disciplined engineering processes, scope management, risk and opportunity


Experience in proposal development, particularly Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) and BOE development, and other contract deliverable artifacts such as Statement of Work (SOW)

Experience in IMS Network Analysis and Critical Path Management (CPM) Methodologies

Experience in Cost Accounting Management (CAM) for managing finances and budget on programs

Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools

Experience in production/manufacturing including integrated circuit fabrication as well as sustainment


Required Education (including Major):

8+ years of experience with related Bachelor’s degree; 10+ years of experience with related Associates Degree; 14+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
