As part of the Land Warfare and Air Defense (LW&AD) Mission Area, the Short and Medium Ground Based Air Defense (SMGBAD) Product Line fulfills cradle-to-grave responsibilities for delivering the world’s most advanced air and missile defense systems around the globe. This NASAMS Launcher Mission Integration Lead will report to the NASAMS Launcher Integrated Product Team (IPT) within the Medium Range Air Defense (MRAD) program area of SMGBAD. This role will regularly interact with IPT and Program leadership on strategy, status and direction. This position will be responsible for overseeing the on-time delivery and favorable cost performance of the MRAD Launcher product line across multiple programs in multiple regions of the world.
The NASAMS Launcher MI Lead will also be responsible for all import/export efforts including licensing to ensure equipment is ready for transportation on various NASAMS programs. This role has accountability for leading and managing the program’s logistic scope successfully. This includes responsibility for coordination with regional teams and delivery through technical, schedule, and cost performance.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Prepare briefings for internal and external program status reviews, monthly customer progress report, and internal weekly and monthly leadership updates.
Develop partnerships with design engineering, specialty engineering, test engineering, EX/IM, contracts, finance, global supply chain, quality, and operations.
Meet contractual commitments including the financial, quality, cost efficiency, technical and schedule performance using the approved business model and management tools including Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Product Development System (IPDS), PRISM, SAP/APEX for the NASAMS Launcher systems and components.
Knowledge of licensing requirements within the Department of Commerce and Department of State regulations
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business, Science, Mathematics, or related field)
10 years of experience to include working in a production environment or Product Life Cycle from material release through contract sale
Experience leading a multifunctional team including members from Engineering, Operations, Global Supply Chain, or Quality
PRISM, International Logistics experience, and/or material movement experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:

Direct experience in program planning, budgeting, and tracking (EVMS) to cost and schedule
Experience in Program Risk & Opportunity Management
Experience with and understanding of export and import controls, compliance and licensing
Experience conducting multinational business
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced dynamic environment with time critical requirements.
Strong communication skills
