Material Handler

Job Description

We seek disciplined, dependable, and hard-working colleagues who will make an impact for our customers and fellow team members every day. Your impact could range from delivering products that help a scientist discover a cure for cancer to assisting a nurse with the right equipment to care for a patient effectively.

• Pull materials from the stockroom for work orders for the manufacturing floor and issue these materials in our ERP system.

• Ensure the accurate selection and labeling of products for our sales orders from the stockroom to the shipping department and report any delays to the planning department.

• Complete internal logistics milk runs to support line-side inventory for manufacturing, including retrieving, filling bins, and delivering to the production floor as needed.

• Move materials to production carts and replenish material as needed.

• Scan Kan Ban cards to trigger replenishment orders for our purchasing department as parts are being picked.

• Assist with daily cycle counts, which are submitted to the Finance Team on a weekly basis.

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1-2 years in a warehouse with stockroom inventory management or supply chain in a manufacturing environment

• Experience in transacting in MRP systems

• Experience with computers and scanning equipment

• Experience with Smartsheet and Salesforce (preferred)

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
