What You’ll Do:

  • Participate in requirements analysis, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis, system design, trade studies, systems integration and test (verification) in the development and evaluation of networks and information systems.

  • Generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools

  • Development of functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems

  • Perform upgrades of software baseline

  • Perform upgrades of the networks including Virtual Machines, Servers, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, etc.

What You’ll Need:

  • Secret Clearance

  • Clear understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories

  • Solid understanding of Virtualization (VMWare) technologies

  • Experience integrating software on a common operating system

  • Experience with scripting and automation technologies

  • Working knowledge of Agile tools

  • Experience troubleshooting networks such as windows logs and Linux logs

  • Experience testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development

  • Working knowledge of Windows products including Windows Server and Windows workstation operating systems, computer software setup and installation, PC connectivity products, and PC hardware connectivity.

  • Working knowledge of performing maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks.

  • Working knowledge of Cisco Routers/Switches.

  • Ability to travel to support our customers up to 25% of the year

  • Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task

  • Ability to quickly grasp and apply new information

  • Effectively handle complex assignments

  • Ability to clearly recognize and report relevant to sound systems engineering design

  • Solid knowledge of systems engineering concepts, principles and theories

  • Solid knowledge of requirements management and system modeling tools

  • Familiarity with technical standards

  • Agile experience preferred.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, a related specialized area of field combined with 2 + years of relevant work experience; or Master’s Degree.
