System One Commercial Operations Manager in Sudbury, Massachusetts

Title: Commercial Operations Manager

Location: Sudbury, MA

Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st shift (remote role)

Type: Direct Hire

Start date: ASAP!

Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Inventory (Insights, cross-functional collaboration, process improvements, and streamlining to support our ability to continue to scale)

  • Operations and Project Management (provide day to day project-based leadership and support to internal marketing team)

  • Responsible for connecting information and insights from multiple areas of our business related to our inventory status, order flow, external fulfillment teams, and related digital media investments, and helping ensure a solid process exists for communicating that information in a timely and effective way

  • Key deliverables include developing actionable insights from the reporting to share, implementing improvements to our operational processes to drive operations efficiency, and connecting the dots between our people and information to create value

  • Partner with supply chain on production planning for channel exclusive SKUs while organizing and managing execution with third party partner

  • Provide end to end support to facilitate day-to-day project operations that span the breadth of marketing related activities including content production, consumer website technical enhancements, subscription programs, etc., and ensures business needs are identified and best practices are monitored and followed

  • Identifies and partners with the right internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, solve for actively monitor and communicate project risks and issues and to ensure project planning requirements are captured, stakeholders aligned, and delivery executed as planned.

  • Serves as an important liaison between the organization and the marketing team and supports both new and ongoing initiatives

  • Plays a key role within the company and is responsible for providing critical insights, streamlining operations, and providing project-rapidly developing areas of our fast-growing business

    Requirements:

  • B.A./B.S. Degree required (preferably in Business, Marketing, Economics, but not required)

  • 5+ years of overall business operations experience within the following areas: inventory/supply chain management, project management, and business operations/financial reporting

  • At least 1 year of inventory/supply chain experience, preferably 2-3 years

  • Minimum of 1 year experience leading people through change/implementing new processes or driving projects
