MassMutual Worksite Account Manager in Springfield, Massachusetts

The Impact

The Worksite Account Manager is the liaison to the customer after handoff to new business and ongoing for re-enrollments. This position will be the key point of customer communication on all day-to-day matters during case installation, enrollment and re-enrollment. He/She is the owner of assigned block of business and manages an assigned block of business, including annual and day-to-day planning. Responsibilities:

  • Work with sales, marketing, and/or enrollment support to coordinate and plan enrollment strategies and timelines.

  • Provide ongoing account management (maximizing participation and customer satisfaction) for Worksite Insurance products.

  • Develop or assist in the development and execution of strategies to continuously improve the design and delivery of Worksite programs.

  • Provide basic product consulting support (product details and provisions specific to the offer/policy) to intermediary, field force, brokers and employers.

  • Resolve basic to moderately complex problems

The Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 yrs of account management and implementation experience in Voluntary Benefits

  • Life, Accident, Health & Sickness License required (or ability to obtain within one year)

  • Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent work experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft products, specifically Excel

  • Good working knowledge of group/worksite insurance products

  • Ability to identify and recommend actions to improve operations

  • Can handle projects or work with defined scope in own discipline and typically has a short-term focus

  • Ability to work with guidance on small-scale team/unit projects

  • Ability to make worthwhile improvements to existing programs and procedures

  • Can work for consensus and contributes to achievement of work group goals

  • Open to 100% Remote
