MassMutual Relationship Manager - REMOTE US in Springfield, Massachusetts
MassMutual Trust is looking for a Relationship Manager whose responsibilities include managing a book of personal wealth management accounts and operate as a point of contact for clients and agents. As a Relationship Manager within MassMutual Trust you will maintain a diverse book of accounts and provide daily oversight as the main point of contact while providing world class customer service.
Key Responsibilities Include
Maintain a diverse book of accounts; daily oversight while operating as the relationship manager and main point of contact.
Work with client, advisor and MassMutual Trust’s Chief Investment Officer to develop individual investment strategy for each client. Output includes the development of the account’s Investment Policy Statement.
Frequent reviews of administration and investments of the book of accounts
Scheduled meetings with clients and advisors to review and discuss their account(s). Discuss and confirm time horizon, account objectives and risk tolerance to confirm or adjust asset allocation
Independently analyze client inquiries and requests, utilizing product and fiduciary knowledge to provide appropriate response/solution
Work with clients, advisors and their tax preparer to provide appropriate tax documentation
Determine and execute required distributions for IRA’s and trust accounts.
Coordinate with business partners to ensure high quality, comprehensive customer service is provided
Maintain current knowledge of personal trust and investment products to ensure accurate handling of administrative responsibilities
Work closely/consult with MassMutual Trust’s Investment Officer, Fiduciary Officer, Compliance Officer and Counsel.
The Minimum Qualifications
5+ years Relationship Management, Trust Administration and Fiduciary and/or Investment Management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related area, or equivalent business experience.
Familiarity with financial services industry
Willingness to obtain CTFA (Certified Trust and Financial Advisor)
The ability to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously is crucial. Strong organizational skills are necessary.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written communication skills are required.
Must be able to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, clients and outside contacts.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

The Ideal Qualifications
Familiarity with fiduciary income taxation, trust investment management principles and Trust and Probate law
Experience with broker/dealer
CTFA (Certified Trust and Financial Advisor)
Familiarity with trust accounting systems
Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 *Commensurate with experience
