PRODUCTION PLANNER A.G. MILLER CO. 1. Create and Manage the Sales & Operations Planning Process a. Work with Manufacturing Manager to track production performance and develop a process to anticipate and identify problems that could affect the schedule b. Develop short-term and long term production forecasts including backlogs, expedited work opportunities and rework orders c. Manage weekly operations meetings through data i.e. Provide Sales, Bookings, OTD, Returns 2. Provide input and feedback to Management regarding schedule performance and adherence 3. Mange the Fulcrum ERP system to generate capacity planning a. Utilize Scan in / Scan out Data to verify profit and quote accuracy b. Demonstrate with data where capacity is constrained 4. Works closely with the Managers to manage schedules a. Create work orders and schedule the releases of work orders to designated work centers 5. Make recommendations for improvements to work processes. Contribute to 5S program in work area 6. Responsible for data management, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations that support supply chain/logistics management 7. Providing management with clear, timely and accurate information with which to make decisions 8. Implements and manages systems and/or procedures which improve efficiency of activity and support cost improvement. 9. Continue quoting and customer support as needed.
