Job Description

A locally owned, growing manufacturer is looking to add an Entry Level Quality Inspector to their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

include but are not limited to:

Perform Inspection checks of devices and Assemblies products

Inspect products at various points in the manufacturing process to ensure that all quality requirements are adhered to.

Utilize magnification aids and microscopes to inspect product

Examine unit for defects and quality of workmanship for conformity to company standards

Using Bill of Material and drawing assembly notes, verify that assembly is built correctly.

Make accept/reject decisions on product being inspected.

Perform 1st Article, in-process and inspection.

Verify documentation for correct revisions level prior to use.

Deliver accepted finished goods to shipping or stockroom.

Complete various forms and documentation as related to reporting inspection results.

Enter inspected material status and time information into company ERP computer system.

Use computer to access and print applicable job traveler documentation.

Performs other related duties as required.

Attendance is an essential function

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:

1+ Year previous manufacturing experience

Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisors and managers as needed.

Knowledge of standard inspection tools/equipment (Dial Caliper, Pull Tester, Pin Gages).

Knowledge and use of standard hand tools (Screwdrivers, Wrenches, Nut Drivers, etc-).

Working knowledge inspection practices.

Ability to follow procedures and maintain quality of products at all time.

Education:

High School

Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

Previous knowledge of assemblies

Ability to interface and work well with others, take direction from supervision and be adaptable to changes.

Recognize documentation discrepancies and refer to immediate supervisor.
