Quality Control Technician III Job Details Description Reporting to the Q.C. Supervisor of the Ink Manufacturing group, the QC Technician III candidate will perform the analytical analysis on in-process ink and functional testing on final product samples FPL. The testing provides the quality checkpoints throughout the ink manufacturing process as well as select electro-optical processes and final product release. Execute the testing processes associated with IP, Encapsulation and Separation within the ink manufacturing operation (includes Pilot and E.O.tests) and complete them with minimal supervision. ? Assembly of TFT parts in a clean room environment and perform required testing. ? Use of established batch sheets, travelers, electronic databases and equipment that are required to perform the various testing needs. ? Utilize statistical tools to validate quality data and assure correlation to guidelines, control limits and specifications. ? Utilize all elements of the quality system to identify, classify and control the status of production. ? Validation of out of control/specification test results in regard to daily qualifications and data. ? Perform/maintain routine calibration and/or light maintenance of laboratory equipment, instrumentation and controlled standards. ? Interact constructively with peers/supervisor/engineers and communicate ideas and observations in both written and verbal form. ? A Bachelor?s degree in science is preferred. ? A High School Diploma with 3+ years of laboratory experience in a manufacturing environment can be substituted for the Bachelor?s degree. ? Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. ? Work experience in a cleanroom environment is valued. ? Must be computer literate and familiar with word processing and spreadsheet software. ? Knowledge of analytical techniques with an ability to trouble-shoot and make informed decisions is required. ? Must be self-motivated and both flexible and versatile to adapt to changes. ? Ability to multitask with precision and attention to detail is essential. ? Able to contribute and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. ? Strong verbal and written communication skills ? Ability to work well with others in a team environment is a must. Travel Required No.
