Position Title: Senior Manager, Web Content Operations
Location: South Deerfield, MA
Reports to: Director, DTC
The Senior Manager, Web Content Operations is responsible for leading the Web Content team in developing, testing and executing online content and promotions on Yankee Candle DTC website. The role holder is responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams including Retail/DTC Merchandising, Pricing, CRM, Loyalty, Subscription and Digital Tech and is responsible for providing subject matter expertise, meeting deliverables and driving to remove friction in the consumer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Guided Content team on key priorities/deadlines; delegating team’s responsibilities with clear delineation and creating culture of open and consistent feedback
Manage and lead team of varying levels, skill sets and backgrounds and providing guidance and mentorship
Prioritized content updates related to seasonal merchandising site flips and changing business needs. Inform site experience based on knowledge of consumers’ click behavior and system functionality
Execute new engagement experiences that support launches of loyalty, auto-ship, fragrance flights, quizzes, etc. to grow revenue, retention and DTC channel differentiation
Manage product level content for images, pricing, copy, product/category graphics, cross-sells and up-sells. Ensure best in class website feature sets execute properly and without issue
Create and execute promotions in support of DTC, Retail, and Omni-email marketing efforts and inform new promotional construct feasibility to evolve cadence and excite consumers. Test and schedule email deployments to various consumer segments
Own SEO enhancements to enrich search results and ranking; provide recommendations and considerations of SEO impacts from business strategies and decisions
Inform current and future content & promotional processes in 2020 to support digital transformation (Odyssey migration), Training and onboarding SalesForce throughout 2021
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA or University degree in Business or similar field
8+ years’ experience with database driven applicationsand real-time, web content updates, preferably for a large retailer or CPGcompany
Excellent communication and presentation skills withthe ability to simplify complex detailed ideas to those less familiar withthe subject
Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics; abilityto provide recommendations backed with facts/data
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across variousstakeholders, in botha startup like environment and within a large matrixed organization
Abilityto use strategic thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills to createnew strategies, build business cases, and win stakeholder buy-in
Respectedand trusted team player with a proven track record of achievement, with the abilityto effectively work with and connect with all levels of employees acrossmultiple functions and geographies
Demonstratesintegrity and maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges
Abilityto operate independently/autonomously given direction, and bring ideas andsolutions to issues raised
Strongpassion for proactive speed and simplicity
Strongproject planning, tracking & organizational skills; demonstrated ability tolead multiple activities and assignments simultaneously.
Strong proficiency in various programs such as ATG,Oracle ATG, Joomla, Listrak, strongly preferred, but not required.
