Position Overview This role will identify, source, qualify and close sales for Basis Technology?s novel Cyber Triage security application. You will own the end-to-end sales cycle from leads to closing and you will play a significant role in defining our sales processes and strategies. Cyber Triage allows companies and law enforcement to have a more efficient cyber incident response and forensics process. It is run on an endpoint or server after an incident occurs, collects relevant data, analyzes it, and helps the user make decisions. Its growth requires a new sales approach and we are looking for someone to both manage a pipeline and help us learn how to scale. Preference will be given to candidates who live near our Somerville, MA office but we can also be flexible for exceptional candidates with experience in cybersecurity who know how to work fully remotely. Responsibilities Lead Generation: Identify and source leads from companies using lists, market research, and other tools Work with marketing to enhance lead generation programs Be able to identify and cultivate strongest leads and focus time and effort in a way that maximizes those opportunities while still ensuring other opportunities are not missed Opportunities: Evaluate inbound leads using consultative selling skills Answer basic technical questions, including comparison with other types of incident response and cyber forensics solutions Follow up with opportunities and leads during the evaluation and budgeting phases Generate quotes and process orders for new customers and renewals Work with the executive team to improve and grow the sales process, capture actionable prospect/customer insight & data, and improve maturity of the sales organization Qualifications 3+ years of Inside Sales experience selling B2B applications Bachelor's degree Track record of exceeding quota Technical ability to understand high-level concepts about an application Ability to give basic demos Experience using consultative selling techniques Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a team and across marketing and technology teams Interest in helping to build a sales department Experience selling cybersecurity products required Experience selling at a startup is a plus Experience and interest in working with international customers is a plus Technical organizational skills & proficiency in managing high lead volume Salesforce experience required We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
