Aerotek Customer Service Representative in Somerville, Massachusetts

Description: • Assist incoming callers with requests and providing great customer service • Assist customers with submitting a request for medical records • Provide status updates regarding requests • An upbeat, patient centered attitude is a must • Our employees must, at all times, safeguard and protect patients’ right to privacy • We are responsible for ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to our patient’s medical information and that all releases of information are in compliant with the request, authorization, company policy, and HIPAA regulations • Applicants should have familiarity with medical terminology and medical office processes and procedures

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

6+ Months of call center experience High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 1 year of experience in medical records department or a like setting o Preferred but not required • Minimum of 6 months of prior inbound call center experience o Required • Strong computer skills • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel • Communication skills • Ability to type 50 WPM • Must be able to use a fax, copier, and scanning machine • Must be willing to learn new equipment and processes quickly • Must be self-motivated, a team player and have proven customer satisfaction skills • Understanding of HIPAA privacy laws and compliance standards
