We are currently seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join Stryker’s AIRO-CT Scanner Systems Team in Shirley, MA .

What you will do

  • Responsible for supporting all customer service requests via phone or voice mail in a timely manner.

  • Provides remote troubleshooting, repair, and user guidance regarding the operation of the AIRO-CT Scanner system per American College of Radiology (ACR), U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), International Organization for Standards (ISO), and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) rules, standards, and regulations.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering Technology or related engineering preferred.

  • Must be able to effectively manage multiple conflicting priorities in fast-paced environment.

  • Must be able to learn and absorb product knowledge quickly and efficiently

  • Must be able to communicate effectively via phone and email.

  • Must be capable of moderate physical tasks (lifting and manual assembly)

  • Ability to operate common office equipment.

  • Familiarity with computer networking

  • Will fully investigate reported product issues including internal/external networking, CT image quality, and Windows/AIRO software operating systems in order to assist Stryker direct customers and AIRO-CT field service reps with troubleshooting.

  • Initiates and tracks CRM based documentation to authorize and direct 3rd party providers to complete assigned field work according to customers’ contractual obligations.

  • Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications.

  • Utilize proper software and technological tools to maintain proper records and access technical information.

  • Strive for operational excellence by promoting a team based, product-focused organization; contributing to continuous improvement.

  • Participates in the creation and continuous improvement of standardized work.

  • Identifies and records all productivity issues or concerns and help root cause problems. Participates in the development and implementation of corrective actions.

  • Builds relationships and fosters teamwork with team members, leadership and individuals within other depts.
