Cape Medical Supply, Inc. Customer Service Representative in Sandwich, Massachusetts

Cape Medical Supply, a high growth regional provider of respiratory care and orthopedic bracing solutions, located in Sandwich, MA, is seeking a dependable individual to fill a customer service position. We will train you in all aspects of our customer care processes, products and services. We operate in a continuous improvement and team-based environment paying high attention to detail, customer care and accuracy in all that we do. We believe hiring the right candidate is only the beginning; we're serious about on boarding, training and measuring ourselves to ensure the best outcomes for our clients and employees. Hours: 8:30- 5:00 pm Monday -- Friday Local candidates only. Will train at the Sandwich location for 2 weeks, then work from home. Responsibilities and Duties Answers product and service questions from patient customers; Opens customer accounts by recording account information; places the order internally and makes determination of required action (new service, changes in service, discontinuances, and returns) Verifies insurance eligibility; Enters orders into Brightree Billing System, determines charges and coverage for product/service requested, advises patients on co-pays and initiates billing process; Creates and maintains patient and physician referral sources files; Resolves product or service issues by clarifying the customer's inquiry; determining the cause of the issue; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the issue; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution; Gains working knowledge of products and services; is able to explain product features to customer. Qualifications and Skills Minimum HS Diploma or equivalent. 1 year office experience/data entry preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel. Must be able to communicate by telephone with clients/patients who have inquiries about their order, bill or appointment. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
