Huntington Development, LLC Carpenter Helper in Salem, Massachusetts

Huntington Development, LLC (Salem, Massachusetts) seeks Carpenter Helpers - 3 full-time, temporary, peakload (H-2B) jobs available 4/1/25-11/30/25. Duties: Help carpenters by performing duties requiring less skill. Duties include using, supplying, or holding materials or tools. Fasten lumber, paneling, or flooring with glue, screws, pegs, or nails and install hardware. Drill holes in lumber or cut lumber or paneling to size. Hold, align or straighten lumber for installation. Erect scaffolding/bracing and move equipment and materials at worksite. Clean work areas, equipment, and job site to ensure safety. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Ability to bend, stoop, stand and walk for long periods of time. Post-hire drug testing may be conducted post-accident and upon suspicion at employers expense. Daily transportation to/from worksite will be provided to the workers at no charge (e.g. designated pick-up location). Worksite at: 7 Dana Ave. Boston, MA, 02136. No education required. No experience required. On-the-job training provided. Work Hours: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm, 40 hours/week. \$20.79/hour. Possible OT at \$31.19/hour. Bonuses/raises may be paid at employer discretion based on performance, skill, tenure. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker\'s paycheck required by law will be made. Voluntary housing arrangements may be provided, upon availability, along with the corresponding deduction of \$125/week per person. Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. If the worker completes 50% of the employment contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay worker\'s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
