Tool &Die Maker -

This position is responsible to build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, molds, fixtures and assembly machines. Assist Engineering with prototypes.

Job Type: Full-time (Direct Hire with Full Benefits)

Hours for this Tool and Die Maker are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. M-F

Pay for this Tool and Die Maker position will range $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, construct, alter and repair a wide variety of tools, dies and molds, progressive dies, combination tools, compound tools, intricate blanking and forming dies, drill jigs and milling fixtures.

Perform machining operations requiring unusual and difficult setups and methods to maintain close tolerance and fits; bench work involving fitting, scraping, grinding, lapping, indexing, timing, assembly and adjusting to insure satisfactory operations.

Make tool tryouts, diagnose and correct troubles, detect faulty operation or defective materials.

Experience:

• Tool and Die: 3-5 years (Required)

• Milling machine & lathes: 5 years (Preferred)

• Drill presses and grinders: 5 years (Preferred)
