The Order Expediter will support orders that come across multiple Government online platforms, working with, both State and Federal agencies as well as the United States Military. The ideal candidate is intelligent, committed, positive and envoys working as part of a team in a dynamic environment. We are looking for an effective communicator who is comfortable interacting with customers and internal partners in a professional manner in person, on the phone and through email.

Duties Include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing general contract knowledge

  • Contacting vendors to confirm pricing or availability and to place orders

  • Communicating order confirmation/status with customers

  • Following up with vendors on the status of open orders

  • Creating and reviewing purchasee orders

  • Communicating vendor updates with appropriate departments

  • Processing and responding to email

  • Must be comfortable on the phoes

Requirements

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Federal Government procurement experience

  • Associates Degree minimum or Military Service will have priority
