Robert Half International Customer Service Representative in Rockland, Massachusetts
OfficeTeam's well known client is adding candidates to their Research Team for a 3 month assignment! The Customer Service Representative is responsible for gathering information about construction materials, equipment and labor through phone calls as well as internet research from existing and developed sources across the country. You will ensure that the researched information is accurately inputted in their database and documentation for the information chain exists.
Find and document sources of Construction Cost Information on a daily, weekly, monthly basis through phone and internet research in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure the Construction Cost Information is captured and stored in the company database.
Keep accurate records and documentation of sources, contact dates, etc.
Assist in the editorial process as needed
Support for consulting projects as needed
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Timeline: Phone screen or Zoom prior to starting
Duration: Projected to be a 3 month assignment but can very well extend
Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
Customer service and office administrative skills
- Solid understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Microsoft Office Suites experience highly preferred
Solid understanding of construction
Command of Administrative Assistance
Deep understanding of cold calling
Cold calling experience
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
Earlier work involving Microsoft Outlook
General familiarity with Microsoft Office
Background working with Microsoft Word
Experience with customer service
Adeptness in navigating basic office equipment and protocols
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated talents in communicating and interacting with clients/customers, both internal and external
Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
Enthusiastic attitude and an engaging businesslike approach
Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
2+ years of past relevant experience
Experience performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries
