The Senior Technical Product Manager will be responsible for developing software product roadmap for Orthopaedic Robotics team. These activities include, but are not limited to, defining product roadmap, new feature development, global expansion, lifecycle management, product and portfolio strategy.

The candidate for this role must be a strong collaborator who has experience in deriving insights from customers, partnering with cross-functional teams, and defining products and features that meet the needs of our customers. The candidate must be organized and have the flexibility to respond to shifting priorities and market needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Roadmap, VoC, and KOL Engagements

  • Work with Global Marketing to drive user research to capture key customer insights and translate insights to product and feature requirements for new introductions.

  • Define and validate product backlog ideas with input from global marketing, technology and other key stakeholders. Oversee the backlog management, working with product owners, to ensure features are well defined and prioritized.

  • Define a product release plan and manage product features end to end. Provide feedback to development team as product is being developed- creation and iteration of design, scoping and refinement.

  • Develop and communicate a comprehensive product roadmap that is aligned to customer needs and strategic goals, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Use data and customer feedback to define need for new development and enhancements.

  • Build networks with key opinion leaders in the industry as well as with key team members within the company for idea generation and adoption.

  • Align and influence cross-functional teams on a product level mission and roadmap vision.

  • Drive the development of products using agile software development practices for new products, and iterative releases.

  • Own the overall delivery of products in accordance with quality management system requirements, and other regulatory frameworks for unregulated and regulated software medical devices.

  • Stay current of external trends and competitive landscape.

  • Support culture of experimentation (POC) and smart risk taking within the team.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in required. Business, Computer Science, Health Sciences, or related subject area is preferred.

  • 7 years of digital/software product management and product strategy experience, preferably in the healthcare sector

  • Prior experience establishing a roadmap for data use cases, including prioritization, regional implications for example, GDPR

  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working together with cross-functional teams in matrixed organization. Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical team members

  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) with ability to interact at all levels of organization.

  • Experience in product delivery following agile software development methods and prior experience taking at least one or more products from concept to launch

Preferred:

  • Experience working within the global medical device regulatory frameworks such as MDR, SaMD, etc.

  • Experience developing software products in a Quality Management Framework in the healthcare or other regulated industries

Other:

  • Up to 20% travel required, in the US and internationally.
