DePuy Synthes part of Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies is recruiting for a Sr. Specialist, Commercial Operations Sales Support Trauma CMF located in Raynham, MA; West Chester, PA; Somerville, NJ or Remote.

The Sales Support team has responsibility to Develop and Deploy strategies in collaboration with Field Sales to enable sales growth objectives through ensuring appropriate resources are available and balanced throughout the US market. The team supports Field Sales Management in achieving optimal inventory turns efficiency. This role is the liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain relative to end to end efficient order / purchase order management.

In support of efficient inventory turns management to support sales growth this role is responsible for developing and providing Advanced Analytics and Insights to Sales Leadership.

The role directly contributes to achieve sales objectives and has a high level of interaction with Sales Leadership at multiple levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • (20%) Liaison with Field Sales / Marketing on Open Orders across Trauma / CMF / Spine; establish Field Sales work instructions, best practices, enable reporting via Optimizer

  • Collaborate with Field Sales Management to enable Sales to reduce surgical case to invoice timeline. In addition, support process redesign for aging open invoicing pending proof of deliveries; transition Pre-Op / Post-Op orders to TruView processes.

  • Support a Field Sales Area for one or more Area Vice Presidents in the Trauma and / or CMF business platform: report on Sales Results, Inventory position, Open Orders, Audit Variances

  • Develop and Deploy strategies in collaboration with Field Sales to enable sales growth objectives through ensuring appropriate resources are available and balanced throughout the assigned Sales Area(s).

  • Support Field Sales Management in achieving optimal inventory turns efficiency based on sales territory

  • Coordinate NPI launches and new Set Deployments to Field Sales

  • Ensure appropriate resources are available and balanced across our Customer Base

  • Development and support of Field Sales Systems that drive efficiencies in the end to end Sales Process

    Develop & Provide Advanced Analytics and Insights to Sales Leadership

Qualifications

Required:

  • BA/BS required, MA/MBA preferred

  • Minimum of 4 years business experience in Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations, Field or Inventory Management and/or related experience required

  • Ability to apply knowledge of inventory systems in order to analyze product launches and inventory levels preferred

  • Strong computer skills used in business reporting preferred

  • Ability to apply Excel at an advanced level (macros, linking of files) to inventory analysis preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with end to end order / purchase order management and reporting activities required

  • Ability to influence and develop interdependent partnering which results in meeting departmental goals and objectives is required

  • Experience in field sales communication and interactions required

  • Ability to make effective oral and written presentations that result in meeting the departmental goals/objectives required

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance

  • Ability to work independently required

  • Experience with using systems to support set requests, reallocation and deployment for New Product Introductions and competitive conversion activities preferred

  • Experience with field inventory management strongly preferred

    Preferred:

  • Ability to apply knowledge of MRP systems in order to analyze product launches and inventory levels

  • Strong computer skills used in business reporting

  • Ability to apply Excel at an advanced level (macros, linking of files) to inventory analysis

  • Experience with field inventory management

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance)

  • Experience working in a Medical Device field office or in a field sales business capacity

    Other:

  • Domestic travel up to 25% required
