This is an exciting opportunity to help shape, influence, and drive US commercialization of the Spine Biomaterials portfolio. The role will leverage a clear understanding of Spine Biomaterial unmet needs, market dynamics, technology landscape, competition, and emerging standards of care. We are seeking a marketer who is a self-starter; a very collaborative team player, bringing positive mindset and high energy, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial spirit; who is motivated to help lead and realize the true Commercial potential the Spine Biomaterial portfolio offers in the US.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
In tandem with Global Strategic Marketing, lead and deliver the US marketing strategy and Commercialization of the Spine Biomaterials portfolio including all elements of Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning, Promotion, Pricing, Clinical, HE, and Regulatory support for Commercial execution of strategy.
Drive Biomaterials presence in Procedural solutions, and inclusion in field sales organization (FSO) Capital Placement deals
Evolve the growth of Biomaterials in minimally invasive surgery (MIS)
Work closely with Surgeons and key opinion leader (KOL) to establish Customer partnership
Successfully lead and execute new product introduction (NPI) Commercial launches
Create a strong commercial execution partnership with key US Strategic Alliance Partners to establish an aligned Commercial Plan leading to speed of execution and growth.
Develop US specific Biomaterial portfolio market models, along with revenue, unit, pricing, and forecast models where required.
Develop a deep understanding of the full Spine Biomaterial’s competitor landscape
Establish sales commercialization Go to Market plans and execute by working closely with the US field sales organization (FSO) including AVP’s, Regional Sales Managers (RSM), Regional Bio Materials Leaders (RBL), FSO
Ensure full compliance and legal approvals of all Biomaterials commercial activity in the US
The successful candidate will enjoy a unique and significant marketing and personal career building opportunity in the US Spine market in the World’s leading Healthcare Corporation and the strongest performing Spine product portfolio.
A minimum of a BS/BA degree is required (preferably Healthcare with a Biology and/or Science orientation, Marketing, or other business-related field). An MBA is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years total work experience is required with at least 3 years in Medical Device, Diagnostic, Life Sciences, or Pharmaceutical sectors preferred.
Experience working with healthcare professionals is preferred.
A successful sales background is desirable
Strong leadership skills are important to this role. The ability to collaborate with Marketing coworkers, support functions, and the Field sales team is essential
Strong customer orientation is required and experience working with Surgeon customers and advantage
Strong communication and presentation skills as well as effective planning and prioritization skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to data detail are required to provide sound input into financial evaluations
Successful candidates must have demonstrated the ability to work autonomously to deliver business results.
Up to 30% travel may be required for this position.
