Oracle Senior Director, Advertising Marketing Analytics in Quincy, Massachusetts
Development of communication programs to promote Oracle's products & services.
Develop and implement corporate communication plan within own business area to ensure achievement of short and long term business objectives, increased profit and market control. Be an active member of the global Marketing team to ensure consistency of marketing campaigns and messages. Disseminate key corporate information to the line-of-business and geography operations pertaining to new product development/launches. Actively develop new approaches and opportunities for expanding company business base. Act as a liaison with senior management to ensure that marketing activities are in support of sales plans. Direct marketing resources and budget to be deployed using the most appropriate marketing mix for the line-of-business and/or the geography. Ensure consistency between global directions and line-of-business/single-geography implementation choices. Implement and monitor advertising campaigns on a line-of-business/geographical basis. Maintain necessary contact with major suppliers, agencies, customers, industry associations and government representatives to achieve marketing objectives. Provide effective performance management: set clear goals for all staff, provide regular feedback on performance and conduct a formal appraisal at the conclusion of the fiscal year. Manage the activities of the staff according to overall marketing strategies and budgets. Implement organizational changes in line with changing business & market needs.
Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge important. Software business management experience. Sales and Marketing experience in the IT industry. E-business Internet practical know-how. Proven ability to manage budget, approval processes, resource allocations. Professional credentials in Marketing, Academic credentials desirable. Past experience in Sales desirable.

About the Role
As the Senior Director, Advertising Analytics, you will be responsible for thedelivery of data, analytics and strategic direction. You will build and lead a global team of advertising analytics experts and spearhead the integration of advertising data with our marketing, investments and KPI data. Working alongside Oracle MarTech, Business Intelligence and other teams, you will build in-house advertising analytics capabilities, performance dashboards and innovative analytics solutions. You will be part of a passionate, highly collaborative team and have the opportunity to make an impact working on high-profile projects. Maximize your skills at the world’s leading data company.
You are a leader, a team player with experience working and collaborating with cross-functional global teams. A problem solver and idea generator, you have experience working in AdTech or an ad agency, specifically with tracking set-ups, Business Intelligence tools, analytics platforms, ad data sources, advertising APIs, and anything that drives media performance reporting (DSPs, ad servers, audience data, viewability partners, etc.). You have experience in B2B and in full-funnel reporting from brand to lead generation. You design and deliver strategic data and analytics projects for clients and are ready for a larger leadership where you set the agenda.
Build the Ad Analytics team – a new Oracle Marketing global function – in less than 90 days
Define a roadmap for integrated advertising analytics delivering on end-to-end ad ROI visibility
Lead advertising data and analytics strategic direction and innovations
Establish a holistic global measurement framework; ensure target-setting into planning process
Build a comprehensive, integrated data model and attribution views
Own the delivery and review cadence of integrated performance dashboards of performance vs business goals at all levels: executive leadership, Marketing teams full-funnel campaign analysis, media optimization and ad-hoc analysis
Focus on data process improvement, standardization and governance
Develop digital expertise areas and deliver education and training to stakeholders
Your team delivers advanced insights to help advertisers achieve their objectives and unlock business opportunities
Your team activities include analyzing metrics of success for an advertiser or product category, developing and testing custom analytical solutions, and preparing rigorous research outcomes that stand test of peer scrutiny
Your team acts as strategic analytical partners for advertisers, participating in upfront strategy and influencing marketing initiatives
Your team will be own reporting out to Oracle Marketing leaders and teams around the globe.
Your team delivers advanced insights to help advertisers achieve their objectives and unlock business opportunities.
Define a holistic marketing database management strategy that supports data unification and access across our internal systems, ensures data quality, and enforces governance and measurement
Ensure incorporation of target setting into annual planning process across each team and performance to goal reporting during monthly check-ins and QBRs.
Skills & Qualifications
Graduate degree (MS or PhD) in economics, marketing, engineering, or equivalent
12 years’ experience in marketing, advertising, B2B and/or Tech.5 years’ experience in an advertising data & analytics role
Experience in position of leadership, executive communication will be required
Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and complex project management
Demonstrated use of modeling and statistical concepts applied to solve business problems
Possess core analytical competencies: problem formulation and analysis, data QA and results, summarizing findings and providing actionable insights
Extensive experience in digital marketing, knowledge of media tactics, audiences and the systems and platforms that generate digital media data
Experience integrating, cleansing, modeling and reporting on multiple data sources
Knowledge of databases, relational database concepts, SQL
Experience in scripting, coding, scrum and agile methodologies a bonus
