Sales Operations Manager

Location : Boston, MA.

We are seeking a talented individual to lead SS&C’s Institutional & Investment Management (I&IM) sales operations team. This group supports and enables our global sales teams to sell more efficiently and effectively by providing strategic direction and reducing friction in the sales process.

    W hat You Will Get To Do :

  • Sales Processes -Document current processes, monitor adherence and drive improvement

  • Sales Onboarding and Training – Develop and deliver onboarding program including in use of sales tools

  • Sales Enablement – Effective use sales prospecting and engagement tools

  • Sales Forecast and Reporting: Leads effective sales forecast, sales trending & sales analysis. Monitor the accuracy and efficiency of sales and financial reports, and other intelligence essential to the sales and management

  • Sales Data Management and Analysis: Direct data management and assist in research and analysis of sales and prospect data utilizing various research, marketing and sales tools

  • Liaison w/ global sales management and marketing to identify metrics to track and analyze sales processes, sales activity, employee performance and coaching /training needs

  • Driving improvement of business processes to drive global consistency in sales process, growth and scale

  • Oversight, strategic direction and driving requirements for of I&IM’s sales operations tech stack and sales tools

  • Developing proactive analyses, rooted in data, that provide actionable insights

    What You Will Bring :

  • 4+ years of sales operations experience, preferably with a tech/fintech company

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree

  • Strong Excel and analytical skills with ability to think strategically

  • Experience with sales operations, CRM and marketing automation tools.

  • Technology user comfortable working in Excel, PowerPoint, CRM’s and other systems mining and updating data and performing analysis

  • Detail oriented with the ability to consistently produce a high level of accuracy

  • Affinity with sales processes, sales tools and applications

  • Hands on team player with ability to work independently and in collaboration with multiple internal and corporate groups

  • Demonstrate sound judgment and common sense

  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing environments and initiatives

  • Desire to define, build and improve processes and metrics

  • Being organized and able to pay attention to details
