Comcast Creative Director in Quincy, Massachusetts

The Brand Marketing Creative Director will be responsible for the overall direction of the brand creative for Effectv, Freewheel, and Comcast Advertising including planning, developing and producing the advertising and promotional programs for the organization's products & cause marketing initiatives. This role is a unique opportunity for a creative visionary to make a major impact at a pivotal time.


  • Mentors and develops the creative team (direct reports include the heads of graphic design, video production, copywriting and web development).

  • Collaborates closely with the events, product marketing, sales development, demand generation, and communications teams to implement a consistent brand voice and design across all media when launching new products and events.

  • Leads the development of all creative and must understand and apply the new brand strategies in the execution of creative assignments.

  • Directs the design, branding, and layout of all long-form research publications. Develops related short-form infographics that captures attention and sparks discussion.

  • Leads development of broadcast, digital, and print advertising campaigns for all three brands, including scriptwriting, filming, and postproduction for TV commercial spots

  • Manages the creative and web development process for the websites for all three brands.

  • Manages the timeline and critical dates on assigned projects both internally and with vendors. Monitors the intake and timely trafficking of all creative service jobs from ideation to deliverable. Tracks progress of all assigned operational projects and meeting planned deadlines.

  • Oversees budget for creative team. Ensures that all deliverables are produced in a timely, cost effective manner while maintaining the creative integrity of the brands.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


  • Bachelors’ Degree or Equivalent in Advertising, Design or related field required.

  • Minimum of 10-15 years’ related experience. Intimate understanding of brand voice and digital best practices essential.

  • Extensive design experience across digital, video and social media channels with a proven history of stellar high level design and visual communication capability manifested in cohesive marketing and website initiatives.

  • Outstanding leadership skills. Past experience leading a creative team. Proven ability to coach/mentor others and share creative critique productively.

  • Equally capable of concepting and executing, with no hesitation in rolling up his or her sleeves to jump in.

  • Experience creating storyboards, wireframes and campaign materials necessary to guide development of impactful and creative branded experiences from concept to implementation.

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the creative development and production process. Oversight of and direct experience implementing project management software platforms (i.e. Wrike) essential.
