Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing and Process Development Engineering Teams significantly impact LEANPD driven new product development projects, driving for excellence in existing manufacturing technologies and methods and striving to implement new manufacturing technologies to provide improved process and tolerance control. They act as the binding element between product development and manufacturing engineering, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of this critical interface. They support Product Development in the optimization of designs and piece parts for manufacturability by realizing sample tooling/products/prototypes. They also design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes to meet TE quality and production standards, document all processes and tooling in applicable TE systems, support supply chain to verify supplier compliance and capability, initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, cost and cycle time and adhere to all appropriate specifications, regulatory requirements and customer requirements.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Manufacturing Technician III will be responsible for: General setup, operation and maintenance of equipment and tooling to support manufacturing and development efforts in a clean room environment. Facility cleaning, shipping & receiving, QA support as needed, Customer Service support as needed. Overall a multi-functional individual that will wear several hats during our growth needs.

Responsibilities:

Equipment and facility maintenance and cleaning.

Scheduling, setup and running of production and prototypes to customer specification.

Shipping of product & Receiving of receivables and all required paperwork for both.

All paperwork required per our QA manual & documentation system

Supporting QA as needed with inspection procedures or any other QA related tasks.

Supporting Sales/Customer Service as needed

General support for all manufacturing and development activity.

Other duties as assigned

What your background should look like:

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3 years or more of related work experience and/or training

  • Knowledge of ISO Regulations

  • Experience and/or training in (Specific to job experience)

  • Ability to read, write and speak proficiently in English
