Inside Sales Representative – STANLEY Security

We deliver sensors and management tools through our portfolio of Safety and Security, Health and Wellness, Workflow and Operations, and Supply Chain Management solutions. STANLEY Security is a part of Stanley, Black & Decker, Inc.

Position Summary:

Our sales model is based on team selling. Inside Sales Representatives (ISR’s) are responsible for the initial phases of the sales cycle. This role will work closely with the Client Executives and Regional Vice Presidents to build a funnel of qualified opportunities for the AeroScout RTLS solution, The primary responsibility is to create and uncover leads to be handed off to the appropriate Client Executive; this will be done through coordinated activities via phone calls and emails. The successful individual will have the ability to devise creative methods for researching and qualifying targeted customers, while being comfortable speaking with various department heads in fortune 500 companies to deliver the STANLEY Security value proposition which, in turn, will create selling opportunities for the Client Executive. Pipeline Development follow up on all leads generated by marketing events and manage all inbound product inquiries are required activities for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify opportunities from lead generation activities, inbound product inquires and outbound calling into targeted lists

  • Ability to work independently and manage their time efficiently

  • Utilize consultative approach to evaluate and understand customer’s business and needs

  • Communicate STANLEY Securities value proposition and tailor to customer needs.

  • Recommend appropriate follow-up action plans

  • Provide feedback on product requirements and competitive issues

  • Provide training and assistance to other team members on products, services and departmental processes

  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential clients

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual goals

  • Perform effective online demos to prospects

  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest

  • Ability to work independently and manage their time efficiently

  • Execute a daily routine of strategic territory management.

  • Be self-directed and capable of prioritizing opportunities and performing multiple tasks.

    Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Must be advance at using computers and applications such as Salesforce, Microsoft, Zoom etc.

  • 1+ year of tele-selling or lead generation experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS Degree or equivalent

  • Training in Solution Selling

  • Energetic, creative, independent

  • Strong email and phone communications skills

  • Execute a daily routine of strategic territory management.

  • Be self-directed and capable of prioritizing opportunities and performing multiple tasks.
