Berkshire Health Systems Operations Manager in Pittsfield, Massachusetts
A registered healthcare professional that provides Operations management on a 24-hour basis for the delivery of patient care or other patient care support service. The Operations Manager for Ambulatory Surgery is responsible for the operation of a service in a fiscally responsible manner and seeks new opportunities for improvement of services to patients/customers including efficiency programs and cost reduction efforts including the evaluation and implementation of processes to improve patient flow. The Operations Manager for Ambulatory Surgery supports the mission of the health system and is directly accountable to the Administrator of Ambulatory Surgery.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
Clinical leadership experience in a procedural area; Endoscopy/Operating room.
Experience with delegating tasks, assignments, schedule management, staff accountability.
Experience working with and managing others in a fair, consistent and respectful manner.
Willing to participate in leadership training and development.
Education and Training:
License, Certification & Registration:
RN License - Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts.
AONL/ANCC – Leadership certification thru AONL or ANCC within 3 years of hire into position.
Other Requirements: Responsibilities include coverage of BMC campus and North County campus surgical services procedural areas.
