Location/Division Specific Information:

We have a strong desire for this individual to be remote based in the Northeast/New England U.S. area. Candidates that are located in the Tewksbury, MA or Franklin, MA areas (and can be site based) is preferred; however, we will consider candidates that reside anywhere in the U.S. that would be willing to work remotely.

The Chemical Analysis Division provides a diverse mix of analytical instruments and associated services to a broad range of end user markets including Safety & Security, Environmental, Food Safety, Energy, Mining, Life Science Manufacturing and Recycling, to name a few. Its instruments are deployed in the field and on the line, in challenging environments where customers put a premium on robustness, reliability and ease of use. They allow them to make decisions where they operate and streamline their businesses. CAD is a complex division with a global footprint, broad product portfolio and diverse customer base.

How will you make an impact?

This role is accountable for the overall operational effectiveness of analyzing divisional site consolidations and product line transfers, managing project approval process with executive leadership, managing full cycle capital process, project manage site and product line consolidations, and support the integration of new companies into operational functions. This position will report directly to the Director of PMO for the Chemical Analysis Division (CAD).

What will you do?

  • Perform due diligence, strategic analysis, and financial modeling for divisional transfer initiatives

  • Develop and manage approved project budgets including capital and restructuring budgets

  • Develop and present transfer plans, with supporting due diligence and financial analysis to executive leadership

  • Facilitate multi-site, cross functional project planning workouts

  • Manage project teams at pitch and catch site (remote) locations to execute site consolidations and product transfers on time and within budget

  • Contribute to enhancing and expanding project management toolbox

  • Facilitate issue resolution and/or appropriate escalation

How will you get here?

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in a business-related discipline; Master’s degree preferred

Experience:

  • 5+ years of Operations experience at a large multi-national enterprise

  • 3+ years of experience working with and managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously across a matrixed organization

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering large global cross functional/site projects

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate and champion complex or technical concepts to a broad cross-functional audience

  • Ability to manage complex projects with a high attention to detail

  • Ability to create a business case and manage benefits through the life cycle into steady state

  • Strong knowledge of project management tools

  • Expert level project management & change management skills, experience working in a PMO framework

  • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong Excel & PowerPoint skills

  • Experience & demonstrated executive-level reporting and presentations

  • Solutions oriented with a forward-focused mentality; see problems coming and develop strategic solutions

  • Customer-centric behaviors with the ability to build and drive strategic customer relationships, both internally and externally, national and internationally

  • Must be a creative problem solver and have the ability to function in a rapidly changing environment

  • Ability to influence others and partner cross functionally

  • Good Understanding of Global Supply Chain solutions

  • Demonstrates strong business acumen and a bias for action

  • The role will require global travel, estimated at 25-40% depending on the projects
