Scope of Position
Add value to the distribution team and to its customers by ensuring best in class accountability and accuracy with all inventory.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Develop Cycle count schedule for all clients and ensure cycle counts are performed timely
Coordinate all physical inventories and interact with customers and audit teams
Research and provide root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies (system to system and system to physical variances)
Provide corrective and preventive actions and work with operations leads to implement process improvement
Maximize space usage and safely put away items onto racks
Manage Inventory Research report and ensure that exceptions are resolved within 48 hours
Proactively prevent and identify potential inventory issues
Train and develop warehouse agents with best practices that uphold inventory accuracy
Demonstrate high level of customer service dealing with both internal and external customers
Ensure systems are in sync for all clients, including that for all SKU’s item masters match, quantity on hand match and report findings to mgmt.
Produce reports for Management and clients as requested and on pre-determined schedule.
Provide trending analysis by account, facility, operator and understand root cause of any trends by account
Consistently refresh training to all operators on good, consistent behavior for maintain inventory accuracy in all functions
Available for weekend and second shift counts as required
All other duties as assigned
2-5 years of distribution and warehousing experience or comparable experience - RF technologies a plus
Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math (add, subtract, divide, multiply) and write legibly. Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods
Strong work ethic, attention to detail and positive attitude
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
