Aerotek Senior Software Engineer in Norwood, Massachusetts
SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, GREATER BOSTON AREA
Our client, who is an innovation Bio Tech company with a start-up vibe, is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join their growing team. This individual will be responsible for the development of code used in this company's devices. The engineer will work in project teams and will provide code compliant to regulatory guidance for the development of software.
Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
Write well-designed, testable code
Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
Participate in the development of software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
Document and maintain software functionality
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
Comply with project plans and industry standards
Ensure software is updated with latest features
Must be able to work in team environment
Required Qualifications :
5+ years’ experience programming in a clinical chemistry device or medical device industry with knowledge of FDA approval process for Medical Device Software required.
Skilled in programming with C/C++ Knowledge of C#, Visual Basic, and the .Net Framework
Proficiency in TCP/IP, OPC and RTOS development preferred.
Experience working with IOT (Internet of Things) and GIT (Source control) preferred.
Experience using Microsoft XL, PowerPoint and Word preferred.
Experience designing interactive applications
Experience with test-driven development
Proficiency in software engineering tools (Debuggers, oscilloscope, I2C, SPI, etc.)
Ability to document requirements and specifications.
Familiarity with Firmware development preferred.
Education Requirements: BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
