SUMMARY:
The Product Launch Manager will act as leader for the product through every aspect of its life cycle including vision to execution, roadmap definition, feature prioritization, and external communication and promotion. Responsible for product strategy and execution from beginning to end, working with a cross-functional team that includes sales, marketing, operations, product development, and engineering.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all aspects of product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities (feature definition to launch and support). Serve as the expert for products and features this role is responsible to own and drive.
Develop business cases and own all product management responsibilities to drive adoption and grow the customer base of assigned product.
Oversee product development, defining the product strategy and creating product road map. Lead development and implementation product roadmaps and improvements.
Develop pricing strategies and product policies.
Determine product specifications based on market needs and industry trends, working with Engineering regarding product development.
Drive prioritization of the new product development through collaboration with development teams.
Support sales and marketing with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise. Conduct product presentations.
Implement VOC techniques to analyze customer data and develop a 3-5-year business improvement strategy.
Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive strategy to identify opportunities to increase customer and business value through product differentiation.
Lead new feature development from concept through commercialization, including voice of customer research, definition of customer and product requirements and value proposition, public presentations, and competitive analysis.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
Communicate launch plans, status, and messaging to marketing and sales team.
Make appropriate and timely decisions based on current information and ensure adherence to existing company policy relating to delegation of authority.
Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations (state/federal laws, ISO9001, etc.) as well as UEI policies and procedures.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
REQUIREMENTS:
U. S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required due to government military contracts.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
Minimum 5 years of Product Management, Commercial Marketing, Sales, or Development Engineering experience in the aerospace industry.
Hands-on international exposure with a technical background preferred.
Extensive experience in a product marketing role within the Industrial domain. Project/Program management experience is a plus.

Strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to comfortably interface with all levels of an organization.
Ability to communicate cross-functionally in a structured and clear manner to influence outcomes.

Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams.
Strong project management skills.
Results oriented and deadline management drive.
Demonstrated track record managing and developing budgets.
