Multi-Flow Industries (Lenox-Martell) is looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial Equipment Repair Technician to join our growing team. As a Commercial Equipment Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of equipment, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Commercial Equipment Repair Job Duties
Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on various equipment including but not limited to dishwashers, ice machines, and ovens
Conduct field service visits to customers' businesses to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
Utilize schematics and technical manuals to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions
Assemble and disassemble equipment as needed for repairs or replacements
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns, answering questions, and explaining repair processes
Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and services provided using company provided hand held device.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
Previous experience as an Equipment Repair Technician or electrical repair is highly preferred
Knowledge of electrical systems and components
Familiarity with refrigeration systems is a plus
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues effectively
Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner
Requirements
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
Face to face interaction with customers.
Strong work ethic, professional appearance, and safety consciousness.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance and up to 150 pounds with assistance
This position is Monday - Friday with participation in the on-call rotation every 4-6 weeks.
