Responsible for final test, calibration, and assembly of all products. Will also repair, rework, and perform some pre-production and prototype assembly work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and systems.
Test and calibrate electronic assemblies using test equipment and predefined procedures.
Perform final inspection and preparation of electronic products prior to shipment.
Test, debug, and repair products returned by customers as required.
Complete miscellaneous tasks as defined by the Production Supervisor and/or the Director of Operations.
U. S.Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required due to government military contracts.
Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology, or equivalent military training/experience preferred.
2+ years’ electronic/manufacturing technician experience required.
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
Ability to use standard bench test equipment (DMM, Scope, etc.).
Prior experience with hand assembly/soldering and component replacement on surface mount and through-hole PCBs.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies.
Good verbal communications skills with the ability to interact with members of Operations, Sales & Marketing, Hardware and Software Engineers, and R&D Management team.
