job summary:

Key Responsibilities: As a Record Center Specialist, your role will involve frequent physical activity, including kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending. Key tasks include the moving, arranging, lifting, and loading of storage boxes, bins, and totes, which can weigh anywhere from 24 lbs to over 100 lbs. Employees will be expected to move boxes manually or with hand carts, process orders, and handle various materials like files, books, binders, and backup tapes. This role is highly physical, requiring regular lifting, carrying, and moving/arranging of boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting. You will need to lift and carry boxes weighing from 10-100 lbs without assistance, and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven surfaces. Required Skills & Experience: Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods Lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including up and down stairs or over changes in surface elevation Proficient in reading and writing in English Experience processing orders and managing labels and shipments Use of proprietary computer systems to track orders and box locations Operate handheld scanners Climb and balance on ladders Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs without assistance Experience operating hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Shrink wrap pallets and load boxes onto pallets manually and with equipment

salary: $20/hr

work hours: 7:00AM to 3:30AM

• VMS Assignment ID

• up to 75lbs. (team lifting)

skills:

• Load, unload materials & equipment

• Unload and inspect packages for damage

dress code:

Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed toe and non slip footwear only.
