Our client in the robotics engineering industry is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Engineering team supporting the Robotics and Automation Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have superb technical, analytical, and practical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively.

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: North Reading, MA

Pay Range: $70-78/Hour on Experis W2

What's the Job?

• Lead failure investigations of robotic and automation systems at the system, product, and component level.

• Partner with other engineering development teams to drive lessons learned into new product designs.

• Provide Design for Reliability, Maintainability and Supportability guidance to new robotic products and solutions teams.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects where collaboration is critical for the success of the project.

• Independently identify ways to unblock themselves, find alternative paths when faced with obstacles, provide solutions and deliver results.

What's Needed?

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Computer Engineering

• 5+ years’ Hardware Quality Engineering experience

• Experience with quality tools and concepts including 8D, SPC, MSA, Six Sigma, FMEA

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally – est travel 2-3 trips per year in US normally

• Proficiency with Minitab, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
