Teradyne New Product Introduction Project Manager in North Reading, Massachusetts

Duties & Responsibilities:

Teradyne is currently looking for an Operations Project Leader to join our team at our North Reading, MA corporate headquarters. Operations Project Leader:

Lead Operations team by managing operations project plan including prototype build in North Reading as well as transition plan to contract manufacturers.

Specific Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Coordinate NPI activities for all functional groups including Design Engineering, Supply Line Management, Test Development Engineering and Operations for a successful new product transfer.

  • Work with each functional group to identify, prioritize, and act on meeting project timelines and risk management.

  • Work with the cost manager and supply line groups to develop, analyze, monitor, and meet cost structures and models.

  • Lead the Operations team and the Contract Manufacturer in developing and implementing product transfer plans.

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • A BS degree in a technical discipline, preferably in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in an operations and/or engineering and/or project management role.

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

  • A working knowledge of inventory, capacity planning, material gathering, engineering, and finance aspects of manufacturing and outsourcing of electromechanical systems and PCBAs
