DC Power and Thermal Product Strategist
Opportunity Overview
Teradyne is the world leader in complex semiconductor device testing and visionary Marketing leaders with a mix of market knowledge and technological know-how are an essential ingredient to our success.
The DC Power and Thermal Product Strategist will be responsible for defining and driving the DC Power and Thermal management instrumentation product strategy for Teradyne’s flagship ATE platforms for High Performance Computing, including advanced 2.5/2D heterogeneous integrated packages.
Essential Functions
Conduct end-market and competitive analyses and synthesize High Performance Computing (HPC), Cloud Computing, Edge Computing and CPU/GPU/TSU/MCU/SERDES DC power and thermal device test implications impacting the DC long-term product line architecture.
Identify emerging market trends or segments with implications for the DC product strategy.
Define timely market segment strategies to support the business group objectives and provide clear product development priorities
Operationalize the market segment strategy
Drive marketing efforts to create and maintain winning product line architectures, working with Engineering to ensure product investments are balanced against development budgets and consistent with division business objectives
Deliver cogent Business Requirements to justify and support new product development
Develop sharp and compelling marketing messages and product positioning briefs
Measure and track new product performance ensuring that penetration, marketshare, and ROI objectives are met
Influence test strategy changes that have the potential to provide enhanced business results
Be an active participant at external conferences and industry forums to both encourage strategic VOC (voice of the customer) and VOM (voice of the market) as well as enhance the Teradyne brand.
Develop and foster strategic relationships at customers and industry experts which lead to a competitive advantage for Teradyne

At least 5 years of DC power and thermal management product development, product management or product marketing experience.
Demonstrated proficiency with CPU/GPU/TSU/MCU/SERDES, high-performance computing, and/or cloud server system architectures and applications.
This position requires a candidate with very strong influence, leadership, analytical, and synthesis skills. This role requires an extensive amount of integration and visibility across all functions of the business and at all levels.
Education:
BS in electrical engineering OR equivalent experience
MBA and MS/PhD are a plus.
