Print Technician - B
Position Objective:
Produce the highest quality product meeting the customer specifications through safe operation of the assigned equipment.
Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude
Good oral and written communication skills
Minimum of six months experience as Assistant Operator or two years previous experience with similar equipment.
P.C. knowledge
Duties & Responsibilities:
Safety: Complies with all written and verbal safety rules, using personal protective equipment as required by department and plant safety programs.
Production: Assists line operators in set-ups and changeovers with primary responsibilities for the press and printing operations.
Monitors print quality and makes timely line adjustment to maximize throughput and assure product conformity to Customer's specifications.
Adjust adjoining lines, as required, to maximize department productivity.
All employees are responsible for housekeeping in assigned areas through the THM Program.
Available for overtime per rotating schedule.
Other duties as assigned by Senior Lead.
Authority/Decision Making:
Ensures all plant and safety policies are followed.
Continually monitors print quality, makes line adjustments to assure product conformity to Customer specifications, and assists line operators in set-ups and changeovers while primarily maintaining the press and printing operations.
Ensure all areas in the press are maintained through THM and housekeeping.
Attend any ongoing training and OSHA classes.
Available for any tasks as assigned by Senior Lead.
