Vibram Companies Mixing Production Associate in North Brookfield, Massachusetts
Job Descriptions:
SUMMARY
Perform various duties within the mixing department as a relief or replacement operator on all production operations including, but not limited to, belt loader, rear hopper operator, mill operator, stacker, compounder, others as required as well as cutting and trucking stock, putting up scrap, weighing up manual oils, general clean up and assisting regular operators as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Operate production equipment as assigned to relieve or replace regular operators for brief or extended periods of time.
Operate power lift trucks, bail picker, power sweeper, guillotine, other equipment in support of or to service production operations.
Assist operators such as placing plastic sheets between slabs for stacker, supplying pallets and skids, filling compounder’s bins, general material handling.
Detect and report material or equipment problems, unusual situations to the team leader. Maintain equipment and area in a neat and orderly condition. Follow all safety rules, regulations and practices and employ all safety equipment and devices.
Regular and reliable attendance is a requirement of the job.
Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Minimum 6-12 months of experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
