This Specialist manages all aspects of MRO spare parts inventory to support a pharmaceutical environment using a CMMS system (Maximo) and ERP system (SAP). This includes sourcing, ordering, receipt and stocking of all stock and non-stock items. Sources all required maintenance materials to support a pharmaceutical environment. Establishes supplier base to ensure best pricing, delivery of materials, and quality of parts and services.

Responsibilities

Sources all required maintenance materials to support a pharmaceutical environment. Establishes supplier base to ensure best pricing, delivery of materials, and quality of parts and services. Creates Purchase Requisitions in ERP system for all stock and non-stock items based on demand. Receives incoming materials into ERP system and stocks items in appropriate locations. Ensures timely ordering and receipt of stock items to avoid stock-out conditions. Establishes strong working relationship with customers ensuring appropriate stock levels and timely delivery of critical inventory items. Communicates effectively through email, meetings (in-person or Teams), face-to-face conversation with management and peers. Computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate and current records required. Develops and maintains metrics for inventory performance tracking. Develops plan for inventory levels, using historical data Monitor, track, and coordinate efforts to reduce inventory carrying costs including stock room organization. Manages activities associated with cycle count program to ensure SOX compliance.
