WATTS Sr. Financial Analyst in North Andover, Massachusetts
We are looking for a high potential Senior Finance Analyst to support our global Corporate FP&A processes. Relies heavily on analytical abilities to sort through complex data and prepare meaningful financial insight to assist management with decision making, and business performance metrics and reports. As a member of the Watts finance team, this individual will work cross functionally to identify areas of improvement in process and operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Develop and maintain various financial models and standard templates during the planning processes, ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic reviews;
Support the annual planning process, deadlines, and deliverables to corporate and regional finance managers. Prepare and consolidate operating budgets/forecasts and other presentations to senior management.
Maintain monthly forecast models, including documentation of forecast methods and processes.
Coordinate regional cash flow forecasts and prepare top level cash flow analytics
Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan.
Support the financial modeling and integration of acquisitions and divestitures
Provide support in quarterly earnings release preparation/process
Support various internal and external investor relations presentations
Respond to ad-hoc internal and external information requests
Support preparation of quarterly Board presentations and analysis
HFM administration and support for reporting, forecasting and planning
- BS in Accounting or Finance. MBA a plus.
- No direct Reports
Experience in a similar role in finance; manufacturing experience a plus.
Capable of researching, retrieving, organizing, and summarizing data to prepare reports and financial analysis.
Demonstrated ability in analyzing, interpreting, and communicating financial information to various levels of management.
Outstanding skills in financial analytics and financial modeling
Ability to work independently and find solutions within a complex organization
Strong database query skill including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with Hyperion / HFM applications are required
Travel less than 10%
