The Director of Program Management is responsible for leading projects focused on building operational efficiencies and facilitating critical business projects. The individual in this role will be specifically responsible for optimizing the network of Electronic Materials manufacturing facilities. Additionally, this role will drive capital and building projects, including selecting equipment, and developing optimized facility layout while ensuring short-term and long-term business needs are balanced. This role will also be responsible for partnering with business leaders to develop strategic plans and driving completion of related projects end to end.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Build vision, strategy, and project plan to ensure a strong network of manufacturing locations.

  • Manage capital, building, and equipment implementation projects; Lead projects that require technical, manufacturing, and process expertise.

  • Lead team of direct and indirect resources to implement capital, building and footprint projects.

  • Evaluate and operationalize footprint alignment and optimization projects.

  • Ensures a strong network of local services while developing good relationships with local leaders.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience in manufacturing

  • Experience driving capital projects

  • Experience directing direct and indirect reports

  • Experience working cross-functionally

  • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and plant layout strategy

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 10 years' progressive work experience

  • Experience in semiconductor industry preferred

  • Familiarity with Materion's products preferred
