Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will actively participate in yearly audits and assist in developing procedures and corrective actions. Your responsibilities include performing Pre-Operational inspections to ensure equipment and environment are ready for manufacturing, checking QA paperwork for accuracy, collecting and refilling essential reports, conducting daily equipment calibrations, and performing routine laboratory tests. Additionally, you will collect and maintain Certificates of Analysis, perform food safety audits, participate in the creation and execution of food safety corrective actions, and verify production line setups. You will act as a 'GMP Coach,' ensuring compliance on the floor, and participate in Post-Clean inspections to guarantee equipment cleanliness. Your role involves constant communication with the Quality Assurance Department and assisting in educating Operations personnel on compliance with Quality & Food Safety programs.

Hard Skills

  • Performing Pre-Operational inspections

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Newburyport, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

This role requires frequent standing, walking, stooping, crouching, and climbing steps. You will often use your hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls, and you must reach with hands and arms frequently. Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally is required, and you must be able to perform overhead lifting and bending. The position demands normal to excellent manual dexterity, motor skills, and good eye-hand coordination.
