machine operator 3rd shift

Are you looking for a 3rd shift opportunity with a great company? Do you have experience in machine set up and operation ? Would Newburyport, MA be a location you would commute to daily ? If so, take a look at our FANTASTIC Direct Hire opportunity that offers a minimum of 10 hours of overtime weekly $$$$

Hours: 11pm-7am

Shift: Monday-Friday

Regular Pay rate range: $19.25 - $22.25/hr (DOE)

Overtime Pay rate range: $28.87 - $33.37/hr

job duties include but not limited to:

• Work specific product and application standards, samples, production schedules, and Set up

• Make required machine changeovers

• Place, aling, bolt, clamp and secure fixtures, guides, sensors, slitters, switches, rollers, tension bars, material and take up reels, feed and other mechanisms.

• Record production run quantities, job orders and product and materials used, machinery down times.

• Maintain established quality and quantity standards, records or work performed

• Transport materials to storage area

Requirements:

• must have the ability to walk, stand, sit as well as bend, stoop stand and twist at waist

• hand to finger dexterity, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear

• must be able to lift up to 50lbs

• specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends

Skills
