City of New Bedford Sewage Plant Operator in New Bedford, Massachusetts
Sewage Plant Maintenance- \$18.05-\$25.21/hr This position performs inspections, testing, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment used in the City?s wastewater pumping facilities. This position is deemed essential personnel and must report to work during emergency situations. - 40 hours Possession of a valid Massachusetts driver?s license and good driving record. possession of a 2B hoisting license preferred or the ability to obtain one. Operates a motor vehicle on a regular basis Graduation from high school or GED equivalent and at least two to four years of experience in mechanical and electrical components of a wastewater collection system.
