Position Summary The Production Worker performs a variety of manual labor tasks and plays an important role in moving fresh seafood products through our production lines. All specifications must be followed in the safest and most cost-effective manner. Strict quality control/food safety standards must be followed. Job duties may include, but are not limited to, sorting, cleaning, weighing, cutting, filleting, trimming, inspecting, and packaging various seafood products. Additional job duties may include loading/offloading product from trucks; operating plant machinery, a forklift or pallet jack; inspecting product; loading product into refrigerators or freezers; preparing packaging materials; and cleaning or sanitizing work areas. Minimum Requirements Must be 18+ years of age Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must be able to perform physical, standing work for up to xx hours per day, five days per week Must be able to process, touch, and be in proximity to seafood products Must be willing to work in cold, wet, loud plants Must be committed to work safely around moving machinery, forklifts, vehicles and wet floors/surfaces Benefits and Wages Salary commensurate with experience We offer health, dental and supplemental insurances, 401K plan, paid holidays, paid time off
