JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS Responsibilities: General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting HVAC systems, checking plumbing fixtures, and ensuring electrical systems are functioning properly. Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and ensure timely repairs. Repair Work: Fix minor plumbing issues such as leaks or clogs. Repair or replace damaged electrical switches, outlets, and fixtures. Address carpentry issues such as door repairs, window adjustments, and installing shelves or cabinetry. Painting and Drywall Repair: Paint interiors and exteriors of buildings. Patch and repair drywall as needed. Patch and repair drywall as needed. Groundskeeping and Landscaping: Maintain outdoor areas including lawns, gardens, and pathways. Handle basic landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming bushes, and plant flowers. Appliance Maintenance: Inspect and maintain household appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers. Fixture Installation: Install and replace fixtures such as sinks, faucets, toilets, and lighting fixtures. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work complies with safety regulation and building codes. Use appropriate tools and equipment safely and maintain them in good condition. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, such as plumbing leaks or electrical failures. Requirements: Requirements: Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks that require physical strength and endurance. Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and find effective solutions. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks based on urgency. Dependability and professional demeanor.
